►Southside Elementary School—Intermediate Elementary Teacher - Responsibilities are to provide direct classroom instruction/remediation instruction in all curricular areas for students in assigned classroom.  (Closing date: 4/5/2010) VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

►Powell Middle School—Vocational Education Instructor - Responsibilities are to provide instruction in industrial arts for middle school students including shop, woodworking and/or small engines.  The candidate will help form the future class offerings for this content area.  Experience with reading instruction is preferred but not required.  (Closing date:  4/5/2010) VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

►Powell High School—Special Education Instructor - Responsibilities are to provide instruction related services as identified on IEP’s to students with varying disabilities; ensure all procedural safeguards are followed and provide appropriate instruction to assist IEP students in reaching goals.  Serve as case manager for identified students as per District, State of Wyoming and Federal rules and regulations.  Being highly qualified in core subjects is preferred.

Requirements for all certified staff vacancies include bachelor’s degree, qualification for WY certification with the appropriate endorsements and being highly qualified as required by NCLB.

Salary: District Certified Staff Salary Schedule (2009-10 Base = $44,500) Employment Term:  185 contract—during 2010-2011 school year, beginning 8/17/2010.
